Privacy notice
Last updated: October 23, 2026.
This notice explains what personal data the memorandum.adaptia.mx site collects, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares), published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación on March 20, 2025.
Who is responsible for your data
Memorandum Brauhaus, a craft brewery based in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico, is responsible for the use and protection of the personal data you give us on this site.
For any privacy matter, write to us at somos@memorandumbrauhaus.com or call us at +52 612 166 1757.
What data we collect
When you place an order, you give us this data:
- Full name.
- WhatsApp phone number.
- Email (required if you pay online, so you get your receipt; optional for a reservation).
- Postal code and, if delivery is in La Paz, street and number, neighborhood and directions.
- Any comments you want to add.
- The beers, quantities and amounts in your order, the language you used, and your confirmation that you are over 18.
If you pay by card, Stripe collects and charges it on its own page. We never see or store your card details. When you pay with a payment link, Stripe shares with us the name, shipping address and phone number you enter there.
Safari, wholesale and contact requests are sent by WhatsApp from your phone. This site does not store them; we only receive them on our WhatsApp.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. This site is meant for adults 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
What technical data is generated while you browse
- Usage statistics: we store anonymous events, such as which page was opened, which beer was viewed, or whether the visit came from the NFC tag or the QR code. Each event carries a random tab identifier, the language and the page, but not your name, phone, email, address or IP address. We delete them after 13 months.
- Your browser keeps your cart (beers and quantities) in its local storage, and during the visit it keeps the tab identifier and where the visit came from. That information stays on your device and you can delete it from your browser.
- We do not use cookies or third-party advertising or tracking tools.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare and loads its fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver the pages, those providers receive technical connection data, such as your IP address, which we do not store.
What we use your data for
We use your data only for these purposes, which are necessary to handle your order:
- Record your order and reserve the bottles.
- Contact you at the number you registered to confirm the products, the total cost including shipping, and how to pay.
- Collect payment for your order by payment link or bank transfer, and issue your invoice if you ask for one.
- Arrange delivery and check that it is received by an adult 18 or over.
- Handle questions, cancellations and refunds, and meet legal obligations.
We do not use your data for secondary purposes such as advertising, newsletters or consumer profiling. If we ever want to, we will ask for your consent first.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it when needed to handle your order:
- With the courier that carries your shipment: name, phone and delivery address.
- With Stripe, which processes card payments.
- With Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the database, and emails us the notice of each new order.
- With authorities, when a law or a court order requires it.
These providers handle your data on our behalf or to fulfill your order, so we do not need your consent to share it. When we write to you on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Order data is kept while the order is open. Once the order is delivered or cancelled, we delete it 24 months after it was created. If you ask us in writing, we delete it sooner, except for anything a law requires us to keep.
Your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection
At any time you can ask us to tell you what data of yours we hold (access), correct it (rectification), delete it (cancellation), or stop using it for a specific purpose (objection).
To exercise them, write to somos@memorandumbrauhaus.com with the following:
- Your name and a way to reply to you.
- An official ID, or your representative's ID and the document that proves their authority.
- The right you want to exercise and the data it refers to.
- Your order number, if you have it, so we can find your data faster.
We will reply within 20 business days at most and, if your request is valid, apply it within the following 15 business days. If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you can contact the personal data protection authority.
Withdraw your consent or limit the use of your data
You can withdraw your consent or ask us to limit the use of your data by writing to the same address. Keep in mind that, if the order is still open, we cannot confirm or deliver it without your data.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will publish the new version on this same page with its update date.
